Displaying Files and the Clipboard in the Mirror Tool

Is there any way I can display a file in the Mirror app without having the file open?

Yes! With xScope version 3.1 and Mirror version 1.2, you can now display not only windows on the Mirror tool, but also files and the contents of the clipboard.

Displaying Files

To display a file in the Mirror tool, make sure both xScope and the Mirror app are running and connected. Open xScope's Mirror Tool window and select the File setting. Drag the file you wish to view in the Mirror tool into the window. You should see the file show up on your iOS device. Whenever you save any changes to that file, the image displaying on your iOS device will update accordingly.

Displaying the Clipboard

To display the clipboard in the Mirror tool, make sure both xScope and the Mirror app are running and connected. Open xScope's Mirror Tool window and select the Clipboard setting. If it's not already in your clipboard, copy the image you wish to view on your iOS device and it should start mirroring that image. Whenever you copy a new image to the clipboard, it will update the image on your iOS device accordingly.
