Sending us an .ips file for debugging on iOS or iPadOS

When an app on iOS or iPadOS crashes, it creates an .ips file. This file can help us diagnose the problem and fix it.

To get the file to us, perform these steps:

  1. Open the System Settings app
  2. Navigate to Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics data
  3. Scroll through the list until you see the product name that's crashing - there is also a search box at the top of the long list
  4. There may be more than one file, choose the one with the newest date
  5. After tapping on the name, you'll see a bunch of text - that's what we need!
  6. Use the sharing icon in the upper right to save the file

You can then upload the file to a support discussion or send it to us via email. Thanks for helping out!
