Twitterrific 5 and Affiliate Links

As a way to help pay for our development costs, Twitterrific 5 adds the Iconfactory's affiliate tracking code to iTunes links that don't already have one. (We never replace another site or company's affiliate link.)

If a purchase is made with that affiliate tracking code, a small commission is paid by Apple. We use those commissions to pay for improvements to Twitterrific.

Apple encourages developers to use these affiliate links in their applications:

Many websites use these affiliate tracking codes when linking to iTunes. If you see "click.linksynergy.com" instead of "itunes.apple.com" when you hover over a link, then it has an affiliate tracking code.
