Troubleshooting Missing DMs in Twitterrific (iOS)

My DMs aren't showing up in Twitterrific. What's going on?

When you add an iOS twitter account to Twitterrific, iOS doesn't perform the additional authentication necessary to allow access to DMs. To grant access, you'll have to re-authorize your account from Twitterrific by adding it manually. You can do so by opening the sidebar, selecting Accounts. From there, you'll have to first delete your current account by tapping and holding on the account's avatar, then tapping the red X button that appears. Then you need to re-authorize, which can be done by pressing the "Add Account" button. From here, press the "+" button in the upper right of the screen to manually add your account through twitter's website. Follow the on-screen instructions, and you'll be returned to Twitterrific with full access to your Direct Messages.

Why aren't my old DMs appearing in Twitterrific?

Twitter recently changed their policy for third party access to direct messages and will only display messages that were sent or received within the last 30 days. This means that after clearing your cache, older direct messages will not be able to be loaded in Twitterrific.
