Twitterrific and Affiliate Links (iOS)

As a way to help pay for our development costs, Twitterrific for iOS adds the Iconfactory's affiliate tracking code to iTunes links that don't already have one. (We never replace another site or company's affiliate link.)

If a purchase is made with that affiliate tracking code, a small commission is paid by Apple. We use those commissions to pay for improvements to Twitterrific.

Apple encourages developers to use these affiliate links in their applications:

Many websites use these affiliate tracking codes when linking to iTunes. If you see "click.linksynergy.com" instead of "itunes.apple.com" when you hover over a link, then it has an affiliate tracking code.
