Recent Activity (Today View) in Twitterrific (iOS)

What is the Today feature in Twitterrific for iOS?

Twitterrific for iOS has the ability to show recent likes, retweets, quotes and new followers from your account. To access this feature, you'll first need to enable push notifications from the in-app setting screen, which you can access from the sidebar.

After that, you'll see a new section called "Today" show up in your sidebar. Opening this section will show you a list of your most recent tweets that have been liked, quoted and retweeted, as well as your most recent followers. If the view shows only the message "No New Activities," that just means that you haven't had any recent activities on your account. The next time you get a like, quote, retweet, or new follower, it will show up in this view.

Tapping on a new follower in the Today view will show their profile, while tapping on a tweet will open that tweet or conversation. The today view shows the last 72 hours of notification activity from your account.

If you wish to use the Today feature, but don't want to get push notifications sent to your device, simply turn on push in the in-app settings, and then uncheck the other checkboxes (which you can see below) in that view. This will allow the Today view to display new activity without sending any unwanted notifications to your device.
