Hiding User Avatars in the Timeline in Twitterrific (iOS)
How can I minimize the amount of cellular data I use when I'm roaming with Twitterrific on my iPhone/iPad?
In Twitterrific for iOS you can turn user avatars completely off in the application's timelines. To do so, open the Theme settings from the sidebar, and set the user avatar size setting at the lowest level. At this setting, user avatars no longer show up on tweets, and the application itself doesn't download them at all. By doing this, you'll decrease the amount of data you're downloading when not in range of a wireless network. User avatars will still show up when you view a user's profile, however.
