I downloaded the update to the ipad app last night. However, my timeline still has signifant gaps. For example, I just opened the app for the first time in 7 hours, and it only loaded tweets that were posted up to 45 minutes ago.

Please advise.

Can you post a screenshot of the gap in the timeline for us please? Thanks.

    Mike,

Do you use a Mac? if so I can get you a beta of Twitterrific for mac that has some things we just fixed that hopefully will correct this. Let me know and I'll get it to you. Not easy to get you a beta of the iPad version unfortunately.

I do use a Mac, but I frankly don't use it to check my twitter feed. I just use my iPad. I'm confused; isn't the recent update supposed to fix the timeline gap on the iPad? For what it's worth, when I refresh my timeline, it consistently only loads approx 106 new tweets.

Thank you for your efforts and responses.

The last update (4.4.6) did improve gap filling for most users. But there seems to be a bug that happens when your tweet database reaches a certain number that doesn't allow gaps to be filled. I mention the mac because its easy for me to get you a beta of the mac version for a user to test, but not so much for an iOS version. So if you used Twitterrific for Mac, I was going to ask that you test this out, but we'll have to wait I think until its official released. hang in there!
