Iconfactory Contact/Feedback for: Software

My copy of Flare crashes every time I attempt to save any preset applied to an image. Any ideas please?
(Installed on Macbook Pro via App Store).

    Hi Jurgen

    I'm sorry you're having problems with Flare.

    Would you mind uninstalling Flare and doing a clean install to see if this problem continues?

    Many thanks for your reply!

    Can you tell me how I re-install it, as it was done automatically via the
    App store. If I take it off the system, won't it try to charge me again?!

    Hi again Jurgen,

    You won't be charged again provided you use the same account as before.

    You can do it manually by moving Flare from the Applications folder to the Trash and emptying it.

    Then go to the Mac App Store, select your 'Purchased' tab and install Flare.

    Hi Guys,

    I've tried this twice now, (trashing, emptying bin and re-installing).

    I still have the same problem :-(

    Any attempt to save an applied filter crashes the app.

    I'm not sure where to go from here! (I've attached crash report as txt file
    - I don't know if this helps!)

    I tried deleting and re-installing several times with no luck.

    But, when I downloaded the extra presets from your website and re-installed
    it, everything works fine :-)

    I don't know why the original app didn't work for me, but everything seems
    to be stable and usable now.

    Hello,

    Further to my last mail:

    I've just realized, the copy of Flare I downloaded that works, is a time
    limited version :-(

    So, I've tried once more to uninstall and reload the app, but I get the same
    problem. The app crashes on any saving of presets. (I've attached latest
    crash report)

    As I'm not having any luck with this, would you be kind enough to refund my
    account, and I will remove it from my system.

    Hi again,

    I'm sorry you're still having problems with Flare.

    The refund process is taken care of by Apple if you purchased the application from the Mac App Store.
